The memorial service will see several members of Ghana's entertainment industry converge to pay their respects to the deceased singer.
Ebony's death came as a shock to all as breaking news on a morning news bulletin revealed how the dancehall artiste had died in a road accident together with two other friends.
Ebony's death, unfortunately, sparked a wave of controversies as various self-acclaimed prophets laid claims to prophecies they made about the singer's sudden demise.
Already, celebrities and politicians - including President Akufo-Addo and former president Mahama - have all paid tribute to the singer. The minister of tourism and creative arts has also promised of ensuring that the singer gets a befitting burial.
YEN.com.gh has also compiled some facts that we so far know about the death of Ebony which includes the singer giving her life to Jesus Christ before her demise.
About Ebony: Ebony's real name is Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng. She was born on February 16th, 1997. Her music career shot to fame after being discovered by music producer and member of Ruff-n-Smooth fame, Bullet.
Ebony divided opinion with her very sensual and raunchy stage performances as well as 'unusual' sense of fashion.
But after her tragic death, we have seen the fiercest of her critics singing praises or keeping mute if they have nothing better to say.
And the overwhelming admiration cannot be said to be a fluke as people have really come to terms with her achievements at such a tender age.
At just 21 (which she would have been last Friday), she dominated the Ghanaian music arena within the last year. She was actually tipped to sweep awards at the 2018 VGMAs and also become the first female Artiste of the Year winner.
Apart from that, Ebony's sense of fashion was not all controversial. There is already a style of headgear [the one she used in the Maame Hw3 video] named after her.
Ebony may have been controversial but the fact still remains she had admirers and critics in equal measure and she will not be forgotten in a hurry.
Being a celebrity comes with its highs and lows, with the lows especially being about invasion of your privacy, living up to expectations and keeping your brand clean and scandal-free.
Of course many people assume that the life of any celebrity is all glitz and glam and they probably don’t have a care in the world. But what if some problems are just too complicated to solve?
The actor, while responding to a tweet about whether his money was 'finished' after he posted ‘Happy Val’s Day’ on Twitter, said that he still has his money, however, he did not know how to spend it.
This is certainly news to us, because it is almost unfathomable that anyone, and a celeb for that matter, has a hard time spending his money.
Aside his successful acting career, John is also an entrepreneur who has recently gone into farming, as well as a philanthropist and travel junkie.
From his earlier stints in the early 2000s to getting nominated for prestigious awards including the Africa Movie Academy Award and the Afro-Australian Movie and Music Awards, John Dumelo is certainly one of Ghana’s brightest lights.

Ebony Reigns never made her relationship public while she was alive
-YEN.com.gh has sighted a video of her and a guy suspected to be her boyfriend
YEN.com.gh has sighted a captivating video of Ebony and her label make, Brella, and from the scenes in the video, it could be concluded that the two were ‘an item’
Brella, has on many occasions referred to Ebony as his best friend and “mother”.
He also collaborated with her on her hit song ‘Hustle’, which is still enjoying massive airplay.
In the video sighted on the Facebook wall of Betty Hillari Gigibel Essel, Ebony and Brella, also a musician, are captured in different moods and settings “playing” love
He also detailed how Ebony would always want to cook his favourite meal of Jollof and chicken for him.
“Even a few days before she died, she prepared jollof for me; Ebony knew I love jollof and would always do it for me. She was like my mother,” Brella said.
According to him, while Ebony and the others were on their unknown “deadly” journey, they were interacting on snaptchat, and making fun of themselves.
The carving, though done with good intentions, was poorly sketched and it will take a great deal of effort to realize that it was actually Ebony that he wanted to draw on his scalp.
The costume carving, though, is similar to the dress that Ebony wore in one of her photos, but everything else is just awful.
