The popular Kumkum Bagya star known to many simply as Sridevi has died at age 54

- She died in Dubai during a trip to attend an extended family members wedding

Superstar Indian actress, Sridevi Kapoor, a star of the popular Indian drama series, Kumkum Bagya, and known to many simply by her mononym, Sridevi, has died at the age of 54.

According to reports, the actress's brother-in-law confirmed to the Indian Express online that Sridevi Kapoor died as a result of cardiac arrest while in Dubai. She was reportedly in the Arab Emirates in order to attend an extended family wedding.

Prominent Indian celebrities and politicians have since reacted to the news by sharing messages of condolences, while some friends and close colleagues have expressed shock and surprise.

"Saddened by the untimely demise of noted actor Sridevi. She was a veteran of the film industry, whose long career included diverse roles and memorable performances," read the Indian Prime Minister's tweet.

Man faints after his girlfriend surprised him with a 2-bedroom flat

A woman's attempt to surprise her boyfriend with a very kind gesture nearly turned disastrous.

The lady is said to have bought a two-bedroom apartment for the boyfriend who rents an apartment.

But overwhelmed with excitement over the stupendous gift, the boyfriend fainted.

According to reports, the boyfriend just collapsed upon seeing the new building which was intended as Valentine Day gift.

In photos posted on Facebook, the fainted man is seen been carried by two men who we understand helped him to recover.

The incident is said to have happened somewhere in Nigeria.

Changing from a tenant to a landlord within a twinkle of an eye is something that does not happen often especially when that change is being caused by a girlfriend.

It has been reported that social media breakout star and Brong Ahafo-based teenager, Rashida Black beauty is expecting her first child.

Rashida Black Beauty came into stardom after her ‘bitter’ breakup videos went viral on social media. She had been allegedly dumped by a young man she called Kushman.

The young lady’s video started spreading so fast that some of the words she used in the video became almost like household words. She is attributed to the “Malafaka” which became part of conversations all over the country.

Her viral videos eventually won her a coveted social media Award called the Jigwe Awards. From then on, she became a hot cake and was projected to change her ways and become one of Ghanaians young actresses.

However, as she enjoyed the popularity her videos had generated, a video from her past managed to be leaked on social media and sadly went viral.

The video led to a barrage of attacks coming the way of Ghana’s social media “Black Beauty”. She was even invited by the Police over the video and charged with indecent exposure.

It was reported that the latest video put all the projects the 18-year-old were involved in on hold and eventually causing her fast-rising fame to plummet.

Legon graduate now making adult films in the US

News making rounds on social media in the last 48 hours suggests that a former student of the University of Ghana has become an adult film star in the United States.

According to the reports, Nana Kwame Opoku ,who completed a course in Business Administration in 2016 is now a full time adult film actor.

In a Twitter video YEN.com.gh sighted (which we cannot put here), a gentleman said to be Nana Kwame is seen in an action with a white lady.

The video posted by Nana Kwame's production company's Twitter handle has received a lot of reactions from Ghanaians.

Notable among them is celebrity blogger Ameyaw Debrah (@ameyaw112 ) who wrote "I'm impressed lol".

@mamaVeeCandy was concerned with the monetary benefits "At least he's gonna get paid".

@soulja_boy027 posted a photo of kitchen stool with the caption "Low key next video Nana Kay for use the ultimate weapon"

@SamuelAbbey commended him for "Flying the flag of high and getting paid 5 racks as well. Man you’re winning in life .

Further checks by YEN.com.gh suggests Nana Kwame has deactivated his Instagram account.

Ebony’s daddy hangs out with actress Fella Makafui

Actress, Fella Makafui, was recently accused of pretending to the friend of late Dancehall musician, Ebony Reigns

According to Efia Odo, who made these claims, Fella did not like Ebony that much and that her 'pretense' was only to garner media attention.

But it looks like Efia Odo's claims may be wrong and that Ebony and Fella were very close to the point of the singers' father knowing Fella.

Social media user threatens to expose the “filthy, nasty” lifestyle of Efia Odo in Brooklyn before coming to Ghana

YEN.com.gh has sighted some comments made by one Instagram follower of Efia Odo, and it seems there is fire on the mountain.

The social media user by name Pjmimmy 742018, claims he knows Efia Odo so well during her days in Brooklyn, America.

According to this social media user, he has videos of Efia Odo living questionable lifestyle in Brooklyn, and would upload them.

His comments were seen under a post Efia Odo made on Instagram in which she claims that “Pressure from the people no go kill me, na lie.”

That post has triggered many reactions from her fans and followers.

That was when Pjimmy 742018 came in leveling those accusations and threatening the beautiful curvy wanna be actress.

But Efia Odo responded to his comments and threats, blessing and urging him to go ahead and release the videos and that the world is waiting for him.

just then Pjimmy 742018 responded to Efia Odo’s comment, assuring her that he was going to make the upload soon.

Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, has reacted to reports of a decision by Shatta Wale to burn down churches by December 2018, if he is still alive.

According to Shatta Wale, he would carry out the deed with the support of the Shatta Movement, and only the president can stop him.

Shatta Wale’s decision was in reaction to a prediction by Prophet E.K Mensah of the Christ Vision Prayer Ministry, who claimed the artiste will die July 2018 if does not repent.

In a report by MyNewsGH, Stonebwoy, speaking in an interview with Prince Tsegah on Hitz FM on Thursday, February 22, 2018, stated that it is a sign of disrespect for Shatta Wale to say he would burn down churches.

“In my opinion, that is overly disrespectful. That is too disrespectful to say ‘you go’ burn down churches. That means you are going beyond prophecy to burn down churches”, Stonebwoy argued.

Stonebwoy went ahead to say that to burn down churches could result in the deaths of people who may in the buildings at the time the act is being carried out.

To him, that would result in the destruction of properties and would therefore be a sin against God, because His temple has been destroyed.

Stonebwoy further noted that God reveals to redeem and therefore prophecies are given to mankind to serve as guides and should therefore not be taken lightly.
