Experienced Ghanaian actress, Jackie Appiah has warmed hearts on social media with a video of herself in Liberia as she took the trip to witness the swearing-in ceremony of new president, George Tawlon Manneh Oppong Weah.

The actress was seen being swamped by many of her Liberian fans as some of them opted to take pictures while others struggled to get a glimpse of the popular Ghanaian actress.
The actress is known in the African country as “Ciara” a character she played in the movie, “The President’s Daughter”.
Many people were overheard screaming out her name and jostling each other just to see her in the convoy.
The actress also took to her Instagram account and shared the lovely picture of herself with the president of Liberia and captioned it, “Congratulations to His Excellency George Oppong Weah, You are a great person and I know you will do great things in Liberia. So happy for you bro. Africa loves you”.
Jackie Appiah together with some Ghanaian celebrities including John Dumelo, Van Vicker, Samira Yakubu, Akosua Puni and Confidence Haugen flew to Liberia to witness the swearing-in ceremony of the new president who had been voted into power on December 26 last year.
Apart from the celebrities, current and former statesmen and women in Ghana including President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, former presidents Jerry John Rawlings and John Dramani Mahama,Asiedu Nketiah and Fiifi Kwetey were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
Jackie Appiah was also spotted in a video as she arrived at the stadium in which the ceremony was being held and she was swamped by some of her international fans to take photos with them.
Later that evening, she was spotted in a photo with Confidence Haugen looking all classy.
Jackie Appiah is arguably considered to be one of the richest female actresses in the Ghallywood movie industry having starred in over a 100 Ghallywood-produced movies.
She shot into the limelight in the world of acting when she played a role in family series called, “Things We Do For Love” where she starred alongside Adjetey Anang and Vincent McCauley.
